For almost 20 years in various educational settings, Amy has worked with authenticity and verve to help individuals from diverse backgrounds claim the courage within themselves to be the best that they can be.
After qualifying as a Secondary School teacher, Amy went on to perform in theatre and also retrained as an ESL teacher, obtaining her CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults) from Cambridge Assessment English. For 13 years, she taught and assessed adult and teenage English language learners from many different parts of the world at universities and private language colleges in Australia, the UK and Canada.
Feeling highly passionate about seeing individuals reach their full potential and perform at their peak, Amy felt that she wasn’t equipped enough with the skills to really help her students break through limiting beliefs and blocks holding them back. She trained in hypnotherapy in London in 2018 and now has 8 years of private practice experience working with a wide variety of clients locally and abroad to overcome their individual challenges through her business, Acting with Courage Hypnosis and Coaching.
