Challenge

The organisation needed a clear progression plan to fill future leadership roles; providing selection, assessment, and development of Junior Managers. Previous attempts had returned poor results, including inaccurate identification of true potential.

Inclusions

We developed an innovative, neuroscience-based behavioural assessment centre, including one-to-one interviews, observation of performance, psychological analysis of interactive team behaviours, and measurement of leadership capability. This also covered practical project management skills, creativity, and business acumen. Based on a detailed needs analysis, we created a bespoke development programme with ongoing assessment and coaching feedback to support growth.

Results

The programme proved so successful that it was integrated into the organisation’s induction process for leadership progression planning. Junior Managers reported a relative increase in skills and confidence of 29%.
